The Brunetti Pizza wood-fired oven remains from the legendary restaurant that was here until recently, so of course you can order a wide selection of pizzas for brunch! Located on the charming Hudson Street in the West Village, The Neighbors is a beautiful restaurant that still bakes the handcrafted, brick-oven pizzas made famous by its predecessor Brunetti Pizza, yet now also has a whole lot more on its menu!
The Neighbors' owner James Shields (Eataly, Blenhiem, The Smith, Empellon Cucina) purchased Brunetti Pizza in 2023 and set out to expand the menu - still the same, great pizza from the same Italian wood-fired oven but with more New American choices for both brunch and dinner.
Starting his career in 2000 waiting tables in local restaurants, James Shields has worked his way up through the ranks into management positions and restaurant ownership, with The Neighbors being his latest New York City project.
Sit back, relax, and make a toast with mimosas in hand. When it is time to order, brunch purists will love the Breakfast Plate - a feast of scrambled eggs, crispy fingerlings, bacon or sausage, and toast. If you are really hungry, the Fried Chicken Sandwich comes with some of the best fries in the city!
