Something revolutionary is happening on the edge of Gramercy & the East Village. The Laurels brings equal parts tradition and innovation, the former by way of its welcoming, energy-filled air, and the latter for its creative eats, sips, and overall environment filled with eager epicureans.
Chef Daniel Fleming spearheaded this project, coming off his success as the Head of Culinary Operations of SRP Group, after harnessing his creative and technical acumen at some of the most luxe hotels & restaurants in the tri-state area. The creative genius is also a TV alum, coming off of stints on “Beat Bobby Flay,” “Chopped” and “Dishmanted.”
Rich wooden tones balance out dazzling ivy greens & white-washed exposed brick, all so you can focus on the plates that arrive to your table, assembled using the finest, freshest, locally-sourced ingredients sure to make your mouth water.
Divine over an Espresso Martini, swooning as you're presented with beautifully Seared Ahi Tuna Steak, sesame crusted with cold soba noodles, scallions, roasted red pepper, shiitake mushrooms, and citrus ponzu sauce. Another favorite is the Aged Tenderloin Steak Handheld, repping prime dry-aged filet, pepperjack cheese, arugula, caramelized onions, and black garlic aioli on ciabatta bread.
The flavors. The drinks. The dazzling atmosphere. This is The Laurels...
All selections will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.
