From storied locals to curious passersby, Session 73 attracts those who are drawn in by the aromas of drool-inducing fare. Upon entry, they soon discover a hidden jewel glowing with the pride of being an Upper East Side landmark for over 20 years.
Noting a lack of options that infused succulent fare with live music in the area, owner Corby Thomas opened the now iconic establishment in 2000, creating what would soon become one of the most beloved hotspots in the area and beyond.
Aside from a weekly lineup of enticing acts, the menu is truly what sets up Session 73 for success. A Classic Buffalo Chicken Sandwich loaded with crispy southern fried chicken, buffalo sauce, and avocado mayo certainly packs a punch.
But it's the Truffle Mac N Cheese that sets your hungry heart aflutter; think cavatappi pasta smothered in rich béchamel sauce and a molten cheese blend - ideally paired with a masterfully mixed cocktail, bubbly beer, or bold vintage.
