One of the most lauded restaurant openings of 2017, Sen Sakana is a serenely glamorous, tri-level destination that stands at the extraordinary meeting place of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines.

Experience an opulent feast of the senses with this $69 pulse for a $100 Credit Towards Dinner For Two at this 1 New York Times star institution.

Executive Chef Mina Newman and Chef Taku Nagai preside over the artfully composed menu, which is devoted to Nikkei cuisine that flourished in the centuries after Japanese immigrants first settled in Peru. The result is an "intercultural bliss, beautiful to both the eye and the taste buds" according to a rave review by The New Yorker.

Start off with the Japanese Snapper Tiradito over a fruity and edifying pour of yellow pepper-mango sauce. Move on to the NY Times recommended Oyakodon, an intoxicating bowl of arroz a la Norteña (green rice), black-feather chicken, organic egg, and Sen Rayu.

Dessert options are just as creative - and enticing. A rotating selection includes Dulce de Leche, Chocolate Matcha Ice Cream with Picaron Waffle and the famous Rain Drop.

Elegant, sensational, and one-of-a-kind, Sen Sakana invites you to a world of flavors unlike any other...

Sen Sakana
28 W 44th Street
(212) 221-9560

Located on West 44th Street near Ivy League clubs, boutique hotels and Bryant Park, Sen Sakana is a fine dining temple serving exquisite Japanese-Peruvian cuisine by renowned Chef Mina Newman.

Sen Sakana means "one thousand fish" in Japanese, alluding to a thousand distinct species of fish that flourish off of the Peruvian coast. South America's exuberant natural ingredients and Japanese cooking techniques originated Nikkei cuisine, first brought to the world stage by Nobu Matsuhisa.

Start your treat with a creamy House Crafted Tofu served in a Mason jar and laced with Bonito flakes, dashi Amarillo, ikura, oba, and avocado; or go for the Washu Beef Tiradito floating in ponzu jelly.

Artfulness gives way to comfort in the Kushiyaki (skewers) section, and the Pork Buta Queso Cremoso (Peruvian cheese wrapped in pork belly) is a pure delight.

For the main, try the Nikkei Bara Chirashi, a kaleidoscope of a dish featuring assorted sashimi, chalaca, shiso, kaiware, edible flowers and micro pea shoot.

Cap it off with a perfect cocktail, like the Coco Tokyo (Akashi Japanese whiskey, Cafe Mocha liqueur, walnut liqueur, Lucano Amaro); an extaordinary journey, from start to finish...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.
