Named after a Roman goddess of fruitful abundance, Pomona is both plentiful in creativity and infinite in potential. Fun fact: her figure just so happens to be in statue form across the street atop the legendary Pulitzer Fountain as a constant reminder to live life lavishly and generously.

The restaurant's menu was curated by Chef Mark Capriglione, a longtime understudy of Chef Michael Vignola of Le Bernadin & Aquavit fame. Chef Capriglione's background is no less impressive - having spent years at Strip House and Henry in the Life Hotel.

Before you dive in, Chef Capriglione or another chef on deck will come to your table and personally walk you through the many facets and complexities of the culinary journey you are about to embark on. Further, a sommelier will help unearth which wines will provide complementary fragrant notes with each swirl and sip.

Dishes are inspired by New York ingredients and culinary traditions, paying homage to the city's diversity and energy in edible form. Pomona has even been know to put spins on NYC classics, namely with features like a Black Truffle Chicken Dog. The Chef's Table is no exception. Picture yourself noshing on high-quality cuts of meat, flaky, buttery fish, pasta cooked perfectly al dente, and so on.

Designer Jason Henning utilized butterscotch-toned leather, amber-hued wood, and overhead pendant lamps to give the space a warm, golden glow. The venue gives whispers of the past without feeling dated or stuffy, and the vibe is surprisingly informal, making the food the real star of the "show."
