Grab this $59 pulse (a $100 value) for a delicious dinner for two, including 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 4 margaritas (house or frozen) or 1 bottle of wine of wine to share.
The crowd-pleasing menu showcases mouthwatering Tex-Mex specialities such as the sizzling Fajitas (choice of steak, chicken, salmon, or veggies) and the Enchiladas, filled with slow-cooked short rib and melted cheese.
With it's bold, extravagant, and crowd-pleasing dishes, airy dining room decked out in twinkle lights and barn-wood wainscoting; El Original exudes Texas-sized charm, ambiance and of course, taste!
Located on the ground floor of the landmark Skyline Hotel, El Original TX MX is a gorgeous, welcoming restaurant that serves rollicking Tex-Mex cuisine and sub-regional favorites by Executive Chef Miguel Franco (of Dos Toros fame).
The sprawling space is divided into a stunning bar area and 2 full dining rooms, decorated with distressed wood, bright red leather banquettes, and Americana motifs. A beautiful patio and a vintage arcade games area further draw crowds from morning until late night.
For the appetizer, try the Flautas (3 rolled & fried tortillas, shredded chicken, crema & cheese) or the Tex-Mex specialty Frito Pie with red chili and tender short rib beef.
Move on to scrumptious classic dishes ranging from Tamales and Tacos, to the juicy Short Rib Burger made with a blend of brisket and short rib, and piled high with 2 cheeses, guac, and a fried egg.
All choices will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.
