Founded by Dream City Hospitality Group's Peter Stathakis, Ela Taverna offers a soul-satisfying menu and a cozy dining room that blends historic Aegean romance with modern Williamsburg cool.
Pull up a seat and start your evening with some delicious Mediterranean mezze, like the fresh and tender Htapodi Sharas (Charcoal Grilled Octopus), or the savory Mydia Saganaki (Mussels in tomato, feta, wine, ouzo).
The entree section reflects the Greek love of both land and sea; from the succulent Brizola (Grilled Rib Eye Steak, crispy fried potatoes) to the Lavraki (Grilled Whole Bronzino with steamed wild greens). The best Cretan olive oil, singe of fire, and a squeeze of fresh lemon are all that's needed to create these unforgettable flavors.
