Rich, flavorful & multi-generational food will make its way to your table alongside gorgeous glasses of rosé wines or frosty brews. Standouts include the Chicken Shawarma served with Persian basmati rice, hummus, pita, Israeli salad & Iraqi pickles. From the second you take a bite of the nosh at this Brooklyn gem nestled just steps from the waterfront at Brooklyn Navy Yard, you'll understand why it's called Holy Pita. A revelation of flavor and laid-back conviviality, this treasure is a dream for those who crave the fresh, clear flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine, but with a Brooklyn twist.

Chef and Owner Josh Lapid traveled the world for inspiration, exploring the food markets and experiencing local cuisine. It was in the Middle East that his palate fell in love at first bite, and Holy Pita was born. He sources the spices from those same markets, infusing them into recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Take a seat and get lost in every bite, especially when paired with a curated list of superb red, white, and rosé wines, not to mention some ice-cold beers when you want to cool off. The outdoor patio is an al fresco paradise, while the interiors are full of energy, amazing aromas, and marvelous colors.

Savor plates like the Schnitzel served with basmati rice, hummus, pita, Israeli salad & Iraqi pickles, as well as the Hummus & Falafel Plate sided by warm, fluffy pita. Another treat is Malawach, aka flaky, traditional Yemenite flatbreads made of thin layers of dough, the Yekkeh with schnitzel, hummus, harissa, Israeli salad, and pickles being a favorite.

Your taste buds will thank you - and you can thank us later...

All selections are made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.
