For almost 100 years, this iconic watering hole has pioneered craft cocktail culture and the art of warm service. Frequented by Madonna, Iggy Pop, Allen Ginsburg, Frank Sinatra and the like, Holiday Cocktail Lounge began its libational history back in 1919 as a speakeasy hidden behind a beauty shop - the building itself dates back to 1835!
You'll soak in the nostalgia and the enchanting staff as you slip into something more comfortable - that being a divine drink such as a Holiday #3, made with cascabel chile infused vodka, bubbles, Ancho Verde, and lemon before devouring a plate of Brisket Burger Sliders (tomato jam, pickle, cheese) and the famous Wagyu Corn Dog Bites.

Residing in a 185-year-old building smack dab in the heart of the East Village, the Eater & Time Out-applauded Holiday Cocktail Lounge lives up to its name, providing an effervescent escape for locals and travelers alike complete with scrumptious fare and an array of expertly concocted drinks to really set fire to an unforgettable adventure.
Dripping in vintage vibes, Holiday is a history buff's dream. The mahogany horseshoe bar from the 1920’s greets guests and the front of the room is crowned by a hand painted harem scene mural from the spot's former days as a 1950's burleque joint. The wooden phone booth, one of only few left in New York City, remains in place, untouched, with its original phone number in tact.
You'll channel old Hollywood icons with a glass of a "Miles from Nowhere" repping earl grey infused Singani, vanilla, pear brandy, and lemon, or cozy up to a "S.F.C.H" laced with Elijah Craig, Combier, cold brew, maple, and heavy cream. And if wine fits your fancy, there's plenty of bottles to go around!
The former Prohibition-era speakeasy also boasts an impressive menu of heart-warming cuisine. Favorites are the Cheese & Charcuterie Plate, the Pizza Margherita (sourdough crust, fresh mozzarella, basil), some meaty Buffalo Wings, a hearty bowl of Venison Chili, as well as the Fried Pickle - a must try with a side of ranch.
