Experience the spirit of craft at Gun Hill Publick House! Born in the Bronx in 2014, they've proudly been crafting beers that reflect their place amongst the diverse cultures of the Bronx since inception. Their beers are brewed using a combination of traditional brewing techniques and modern day innovation.
With that in mind, dive straight into The 2025 Gun Hill Barrel Aged Beer Festival! This annual celebration invites you to savor sips from 20+ breweries, be it local favorites or other delightful sensation from around the USA. You'll drink, dance, and even dine, soaking in the scene with your crew in tow.
Barrel-aged beers are brewed and then aged in wooden barrels, often previously used for spirits like whiskey, wine, or rum, which imparts unique flavors to the beer. The aging process allows the beer to develop complex aromas and deeper flavors, such as hints of vanilla, oak, and caramel, as well as subtle nuances from the barrel’s previous contents.
Succumb to the smoother, more rounded character of each concoction, reveling in a richness that evolves over time, making each swig highly sought after. Here, you'll find expressions from the likes of Strong Rope Brewery, Round Table Brewery, The Flagship Brewing Co., Two Locals Brewing, Union Street Brewing, Vosburgh Brewing Company, Warbler Brewery, Wild East Brewing, and more!
