Firefly's Head Chef, Vanessa Ceballos, began exploring her passion for food in 2008 by being accepted to and excelling at the gastronomy institute Centro de Capacitación de Alta Cocina in Venezuela.
Her passion for bringing people together over food led her to New York City - its diversity of cuisine & people expanded her knowledge, resulting in Firefly's menu full of inventive, original dishes, each drawing from her time spent in Madrid, Seville, Morocco & Portugal, mirroring the quaint, original bistros she explored throughout.
Enjoy stellar flavors, colors, aromas, and preparation styles that show off her unique culinary style. Begin with a few glasses or Rosé, or go straight for something more potent, namely Pina Coladas or an Old Fashioned or two!
Twirl some Gamba E Pesto (shrimp, tomato pesto, Chardonnay butter sauce or creamy paptrika sauce) around your fork, or sink your teeth into a Bistecca BBQ Sandwich loaded with tri-tip steak, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, arugula, tartar sauce, and covered in a homemade barbecue sauce.
