The likes of Bob Dylan and Jack Kerouac called it home, and now, you can bask in the nostalgia with a modern, indulgent twist at Figaro in Greenwich Village. Applauded by The New York Times, Forbes, & Time Out, this jewel sets a decadently hip stage for an unforgettable feast.

Grab your $89 pulse (a $166 value) for a 3 Course Dinner For Two that includes 1 Appetizer, 2 Entrees, 1 Dessert, and 2 Cocktails, Glasses of Wine, or Beers.

Formerly a secret treasure frequented by iconic creatives in the '60s, Figaro has undergone a dramatic facelift, retaining the charm of the past while celebrating the promise of a delicious future. You can thank Mario Skaric, whose time at The Standard & Baby Brasa have fine tuned his ability to transform a space into an immersive experience of culture & cuisine.

Cuddle up to the chic, contemporary French bistro vibe as you devour Lobster Toast with brown butter & lobster mousse on brioche bread, moving on to wow-worthy plates of Steak Frites adorned with a choice of chimichurri or au poivre sauce. Alternatively, try the fresh, tender Roasted Branzino with lemon caper sauce & a grilled lemon.

End the night on a high note with some dessert, as well as the final sips of your glass of wine or Figaro Manhattan cocktail (fig infused Rittenhouse rye, Cinzano 1757 rosso, Nonino amaro) - this is New York City, people...

"New York’s Reimagined Figaro Café Opens, Channeling Its Iconic Past." So says Forbes when gushing about Greenwich Village jewel, Figaro. Opened in 1957, this place to see and be seen is where beat generation pioneers Jack Kerouac and Lenny Bruce, musicians Bob Dylan and Lou Reed, and actor Al Pacino found inspiration and relaxation in The Big Apple.

Transformed into a chic, stylish space, Figaro features lush green banquettes, geometric light fixtures reminiscent of the '50s and '60s, and a striking 25-foot centerpiece bar. The walls are lined with vintage copies of Le Figaro, the French magazine that inspired the name. Co-owner Mario Skaric and DM Design sourced additional copies from a Paris archive, adding authentic touches to the updated décor.

In a nod to the café's historic roots, Skaric’s wife Marta curated the musical soundtrack, which transports guests back to the original Figaro's era. The playlist features timeless classics, ranging from Ricky Nelson to Frank Sinatra, perfectly complementing the vintage-inspired ambiance. This thoughtful combination of design and sound creates an inviting atmosphere that honors the café's past while embracing its stunning present.

The couple, along with business partner Florence Zabokritsky, brought their restaurant experience from places like The Standard Grill and were eager to find a new spot in the neighborhood to expand. As they delved into the rich history of the space, they felt compelled to become part of its legacy. As a result, they honor its storied past while breathing new life into it, creating a gathering space that resonates with the savviest of denizens.

Your taste buds will adore the Scallop Tostada repping bacon jam and jalapeño-corn pico di gallo, followed closely by mains like Pan Seared Salmon (sunchoke purée, roasted sunchokes, sunchoke chips, salsa verde, chive blossoms) or Cast Iron Seared Chicken sided by crispy smashed yukon gold marble potatoes, and drizzled with chicken jus & a passionfruit-fig gastrique.

A Not So Dirty Martini (Kalamata olives infused Absolut vodka, Cinzano 1757 extra dry, olive bitters) adds boozy splendor to your lineup, while a Matcha Tart dessert comprised of matcha whipped cream, sesame-praline creme, candied ginger caramel, and a toasted sesame-chocolate coated tart seal the deal.

We can't think of a more perfect night...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.

  • "My dining experience was nothing short of impeccable, from the interior to the food, drinks, customer service - amazing. I went for dinner and I started with the salmon tartare and it was really good. Then I had the mussels and the burrata. It was all prepared very well and bursting with flavor. For my main I chose the dry age ribeye and it was the best thing I ate all night. I high recommend it. The service and my server were great. It topped off my experience. Overall Figaro is definitely on the top of my list of places to dine. Great food, great service, and great music."
