One of SoHo's premier venues for world music, Sounds of Brazil's storied stage has seen all kinds of acts since its opening by legendary nightlife entrepreneur Larry Gold in 1982. Usher, Erykah Badu, Marc Anthony, and John Legend are just a few of the A-listers who have performed here over the years.
Join Sounds of Brazil for its long-running Friday and Saturday night dinner and concert series. The mahogany paneled interior and cozy venue provide an experience no live music lover could pass up – the forward guard of tables nestles right up to the edge of the stage!
Come for the delicious dinner; a creative, seasonal menu that includes the addictive Taste of The World Sampler (Brazilian chicken bites, empanadas garlic shrimp, Cuban corn), then move on to hearty entrees like the Bistec Ipanema (rubbed shell steak, fried sweet plantains, white rice).
Pair your feast with your choice of sangria and top it off with a dreamy homemade caramel flan, then make your way to the dance floor. Dessert may be over, but your night is just beginning!
