Created by Gabriel Orta and Elad Zvi, Broken Shaker became a bona fide phenomenon when it first took residency at The Freehand Miami and snagged a James Beard finalist nod as well as Tales of the Cocktail's Best American Hotel Bar.
Its New York incarnation was designed by Roman and Williams, who warmed up the vast, 18th floor space with wicker chairs, raw wood panels, Penguin Foot ceramics and eclectic plants by UrbanGreen. The result - comprising 2 bars each, indoors and out - is cozy and exotic, like being invited to a house party...if the hosts are well-traveled expats based in the Seychelles.
Naturally, Broken Shaker's first-ever New Year's Eve Party promises to be a transportive affair set to the live performance by reggae icon Sister Mary.
A Premium Open Bar featuring Absolut, Jameson, Beefeater, Olmeca Altos Tequila and Havana Club Rum 7 will keep you buzzin' and groovin' all night.
