BLACKBARN is a modern-luxury concept venue by Chef John Doherty, a culinary titan who has served some of the most distinguished figures in the world during his 23-year tenure as the Executive Chef of the Waldorf Astoria.
Inspired by designer Mark Zeff's bespoke homes in East Hampton, the airy space evokes a very chic farmhouse crossed with a city loft; every gorgeous detail within - flatware, tableware, linens, and furniture - is designed in-house and created exclusively for the brand.
To start, the Tuna Tartare is fresh and memorable with bites of celery & tomato, served alongside a bloody mary sorbet. Move on to the Chicken Milanese (arugula, snap peas, carrot, asparagus, balsamic), or the Rigatoni Pomodoro enriched with eggplant, parmigiana and basil.
Cap things off with a marvelous housemade dessert like the Chocolate Coffee Cremeux (chocolate cake, vanilla mousse); it's the perfect match for the Juve Y Camps Reserva de la Familia Cava Brut Nature, or any of the other biodynamic wines and beers on the list.
