After 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Chef Angel Sanchez and restauranteur Besim Kukaj set out to create an “at-home” Mexican feeling at Serenata.
Nestled on 17th Street in Chelsea, the new restaurant offers an inviting and fun atmosphere, with dishes that incorporate traditional Mexican techniques and hints of pan-Latin flavors.
House specials include Tacos de Carne Asada (skirt steak, refried beans, avocado, caramelized onions, pico de gallo with fried eggs & homefries) and the delightful Mexican Pancakes (served with fresh berries & scrambled eggs).
