The latest smash hit restaurant from acclaimed Chef R.L. King (Il Buco, Gallow Green at The McKittrick), Bar Gonzo is a globally influenced restaurant that offers eclectic cuisine from around the world at a sexy 1970s inspired venue.
Grab this $59 pulse (a $111 value) for a mouthwatering 3 course dinner for two, that includes 2 Appetizers, 2 Entrees, 1 Dessert, and 2 Specialty Cocktails, Glasses of Wine, or Beer.
The much celebrated menu here ranges from complex to classic. The Charred Octopus Skewers drizzled with chorizo vinaigrette, Wagyu Beef Tartare (labne, brown butter, crispy injera) and Jerk Pork Ribs (red stripe BBQ, dynasty nuts) are just a few of the tempting choices.
A round of ingenious cocktails by Tim Cooper (Flatiron Lounge) offer the perfect compliment to your meal; we recommend the rather unique Ginger Mint Lemonade - a concoction of Aylesbury Duck Vodka, lemon, ginger, mint & club soda.

Deemed one of the most unique restaurants in New York City, Bar Gonzo is a whimsical, bi-level restaurant paying homage to the literary style and excess of the disco era.
The space designed by Turjeman Jaakow is inspired by adventurer-writers like Hunter S. Thompson, George Plimpton, and Ernest Hemingway. Colorful glass partitions, splashes of tropical pink, gold, and green, flowering vines, and cabanas make fluid references to California cool cribs and Barbadian beach shacks.
Upstairs, the Raw Bar and the climate-controlled, year-round outdoor area bring the beach to the city. Settle beneath a flower-laden gazebo and sip tiki-tinged libations like the Hotel Nacional (Cana Brava rum, lime, pineapple, apricot liqueur).
The menu here is designed to be savored with friends; from the Charred Carolina White Shrimp Skewers to the zany "French bread" pizzas. Large Plates like the Whole Roasted Branzino and the Wagyu Smashed Burger continue the progression to richer and headier flavors.
Ensure you leave room for one of the whimsical deserts, such as the Chocolate Foole: chocolate cake sprinkled with choco pearls, choco crumbs, and choco whipped cream. It's as wildly delicious as it is creative - just like Bar Gonzo itself.
