This time, they're back with their iconic Whisky Smackdown. American Bourbon and Scotch Whisky will go head to head (or sip to sip) as you taste a curated selection.
Astor Center Instructor, Robin Robinson, will be walk you through distinct flavor profiles of American bourbon and Scotch whisky, the distillation methods and aging techniques of American bourbon and Scotch whisky, how to taste and describe whisky, and how to navigate whisky selections with confidence.
New York Times-featured Robin Robinson is the author of the book "The Complete Whiskey Course: A Comprehensive Tasting School in Ten Lessons." He is a private consultant to the American craft spirits industry, a "brand sherpa" who counsels brands on marketing and sales strategy, narrative construction and sales methodology.
