Welcome to Aqua New York – Flatiron’s captivating culinary destination, where Italian soul and Japanese precision meet under one roof. From handmade pasta to masterful sushi, two distinct kitchens come together in perfect harmony. Bold, refined, and uniquely Aqua.

The space is divided into two distinct zones - Aqua Kyoto, with warm copper and gold accents, temple lanterns, and traditional Noh masks, and Aqua Roma, defined by deep aquatic blues and minimalist Italian refinement. The result is a space that’s as bold as it is gorgeous.

Aqua Roma delivers bold Italian flavor with handmade pastas, artisan pizzette, and signature dishes that blend tradition with a modern edge, while Aqua Kyoto reps the city’s longest sushi bar, all while exploring contemporary Japanese cuisine through inventive plates alongside Japan’s most loved classics.

Expect a visually arresting space that masterfully fuses Japanese serenity with Italian elegance. Designed by Robert Angell & founder David Yeo, the restaurant reps soaring ceilings, custom wood flooring, intricate architectural millwork, and moody, sophisticated lighting that casts a rich glow. At its center is the striking oval bar, wrapped in a dramatic, sky-reaching hemp-rope installation that's both sculpture and statement.

Executive Chef Mitsuru Hara brings his Nobu training to the table for the Kyoto to Roma Signature Tasting Dinner. Kick things off with some Edamame & Maldon sea salt. Next up, the Burrata shines with roasted beets, honey & thyme. How about Ravioli with puffed parmesan, or Jalapeño Miso Marinated Char-Grilled Baby Chicken? The Grilled Shishito Peppers are a delight, while nothing beats the sensational Tiramisu.

At Aqua, make an ordinary night in New York City nothing short of extraordinary...
