Ken & Cook honors its neighborhood by alluding to the past—the high-vaulted, tin ceilings and the old-fashioned subway tiles that line the walls celebrate the history of the area.
American cuisine gets stylish at this intimate Nolita spot, where tin ceilings, subway tiles and painted brick suggest the rich architectural history of the neighborhood. Ken & Cook welcomes patrons to enjoy contemporary dining in a convivial, friendly ambiance.
While the “Ken” is short for Kenmare Street, the “Cook” refers to owners Chef Richard Diamonte (of Jean-Georges fame) & Artan Gjoni (of Mercer Kitchen & Norwood), who craft homestyle American plates alongside French and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
Start off with the restaurant's famed Crab Cakes or the Burrata. For your main course, a wide selection of entrees include Aged Strip Steak, Steamed Halibut, Lobster Ravioli and Rack Of Lamb. Finish your meal with the day's selection of desserts, and of course, don't forget your bottle of wine!
