Wheels Up is a fun, annual benefit that brings together New Yorkers interested in supporting low-income students attend college. This year's event takes place from 6:30pm until 8:30pm on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at M1-5 Lounge in Tribeca.
Grab your $75 ticket (a $100 value) to join The Friends of Wheels (Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School) for a 2 Hour Premium Open Bar, appetizers and live entertainment from the Wheels Jazz Ensemble.
All proceeds go towards helping The Friends of Wheels send more students to college. It's no wonder that the organization was highlighted by President Barak Obama during his January 29, 2014 State of the Union Speech.

Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (Wheels) is a public school in Washington Heights. Even though 90% of students at Wheels will be the first in their families to attend college, the school has a 100% college application rate.
Through Friends of Wheels, the goal is to make sure that every student in the school has the information, counseling, and extracurricular experiences they need to get into and succeed in college and beyond.
At the 2014 State of the Union address, President Obama recognized Wheels student Estiven Rodriguez (pictured above) for his hard work and incredible achievements, despite the challenges he’s had to face. You may view the address here.
Estiven is now a Sophomore excelling at Dickinson College - a feat that would not have been possible without the help from the Friends of Wheels.
