Not actually a hotel, this Lower East Side spot is named after a French World War II safe house, is retro in design and serves a rooftop dinner that would make you feel as if you are in 1940s Paris.... were it not for the sweeping views of New York City.
For dinner, you can choose to sit inside the restaurant, that emanates sophisticated glamor of 1940s Paris; or, on the retractable rooftop, that transports you to a Parisian garden with lamp post lighting, park benches and draping floral greeneries.
The New American/Fun French menu has been hand selected by Executive Chef Seth Levine who currently presides over culinary hotspots The Stand & Penthouse 808 and was the Executive Chef at Sons of Essex when the restaurant opened n 2011.
Start off with Seth's famed Rock Shrimp Tempura or the Bacon Crusted Kobe Sliders. Entrees include Pan Roasted Halibut, Waffle Crusted Fried Chiken, Grilled Hanger Steak and many more. Dessert choices include Apple Tart, French Toast Kabobs and Nutella & Marshallow Bread Pudding - among others.
Select your signature cocktails from options like the Kir Yvette (New Amsterdam Vodka, Blueberry Liueur, Lemon, Sparkling Rose), the Pineapple Express (jalapeño-infused Don Julio Blanco, pomegranate, and fresh cane syrup) and many other delicious concoctions.
