From Vinho Verde’s refreshing, floral whites to the bold, dry reds from Barraida, Portugal’s finest wines will take center stage in New York City from 600pm until 800pm on Wednesday October 22nd, 2014.

To compliment the 300+ wines you will be enjoying, there will be a variety of internationally inspired bites offered throughout the evening.
Wines of Portugal, a collective founded in 2010 to produce and promote Portuguese wine, will host this year’s annual Grand Tasting at the lavish Prince George Ballroom.
Those who are completely unfamiliar with the fine wines of Portugal will be surprised by the vast variety of vintages. And even connoisseurs will find something new to love. Dip into the dry reds of Bairrada and fruity whites of Vinho Verde. There will also be tastings from the newly renamed Tejo and Lisbon regions, as well as Douro.
Light appetizers will be served, which will showcase the ease in ability to pair Portuguese wines with various types of cuisine. Don't miss the 300+ Portuguese wines selection that will be shown at this event.
