From Chef Mario Hernandez (La Esquina) and mixologist Jorge Guzman (Ofrenda) comes New York Magazine Critic's Pick Black Ant, a modern Mexican restaurant in the East Village. The vibe is cheerfully cool, suitable for brunch with friends or a date in the beautiful enchanting back garden.
Now, onto the menu where special attention is paid to authentic ingredients, resulting in daring dishes such as savory favorites Tostadas De Cangrejo (crab meat tostadas), Perrito De Pulpo (octopus avocado roll) and Duck & Eggs.
If you'd like something sweeter, check out the Mexico City Waffles (with Mexican vanilla ice cream) or the Donas Con Mole Negro (Panela cheese doughnuts).
