Hold onto your napkins, New York! It's time to hog the spotlight one last time before summer bows out. The 17th Annual Pig Island Food & Drink Festival is trotting back into town on Saturday September 12, 2026 at 12:00pm, at the gorgeously green Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden. Consider this your official invitation to send summer off in the most droolworthy way imaginable, with a whole hog, a full glass, and zero regrets, before fall struts in.

Grab your $49 General Admission Ticket (a $71 Value) for All-Inclusive Access to this epicurean gathering where you'll enjoy Unlimited Tastings of Delicious Pork Dishes from 20+ Top Chefs & Pitmasters, Amazing Sides, as well as 4 Hours of Free-Flowing Cocktails, Craft Beers, Wines, Ciders & Artisanal Spirits.

20+ culinary titans of smoke and fire are on deck. Leading the charge back into the ring is 2025 Best In Show Champion Chef Dhanapol "Oak" Marprasert of Kam Rai Thai. From Charleston, South Carolina, Tank Jackson of Holy City Hogs rolls in with a whole heritage breed hog plus legendary Benton's Country Ham, while Kevin Morgan of the Mike's Hot Honey Team, Cenobio Canalizo of Forbes-praised Morgan's Brooklyn BBQ, and more smoke-slingers fire things up.

No proper hog holiday is complete without dessert, and this year that honor belongs to Tipsy Scoop, serving up boozy treats alongside fresh grilled vegetables, hot sauce stations, and more. Lest we forget, there will be a DJ spinning the tracks, butchering and cooking demos, and a stacked judging panel led by James Beard Foundation Award winner Chintan Pandya and Emily Fedner of Petite Pasta Joint.

Of course, no proper pig-out is complete without something strong to sip. We're talking 4 hours of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and ciders from Bubba's Whiskey by Michter's, Flagship Brewing Co., Brooklyn Gin, Upstate Vodka, Pinaq Cocktails, Fort Hamilton Distillery, Granja Mezcal, and Round Table Brewing.

So come hungry, come thirsty, and come ready for a boozy, briny, bark-crusted bacchanal where the meat is the headliner and the magic is the encore. Come for the pork. Stay for everything else...

Summer's final bow deserves a proper send-off, and nothing does it quite like a ticket to the 17th Annual Pig Island Festival. This sold-out-every-single-year swine soirée is back, ready to load your plate and top off your glass with the best flavors the season has to offer. Pork belly, pulled pork, ribs, roasts. Every cut hits the table hot, juicy, and dripping with flavor, courtesy of the country's finest chefs and pitmasters, with a frosty pour never more than an arm's reach away.

Behind the whole glorious operation stands Jimmy Carbone, restaurateur, chef, and social entrepreneur, the mastermind who also dreamed up crowd favorites like Brisket King, Rib King, Cider Feast, and Bowl of 'Zole. Pig Island is his love letter to the pig, and this year he's assembled an all-star roster of culinary heavyweights ready to redefine what a pork festival can be.

Make no mistake, this isn't your average backyard cookout. It's a chef-driven showcase of artistry sprawled across 83 sun-dappled acres of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden. Every hog on site is locally sourced from sustainable farms, then lovingly prepped, smoked, grilled, and pulled by true masters of the pit.

Leading this year's charge is Eater-applauded Rodrigo Duarte of Don Rodrigo, Tank Jackson of Holy City Hogs, Gavin, Jamie & Chris Farella of Brothers BBQ, Time Out-approved Oak Marprasert of Kam Rai Thai, and plenty more pit legends bringing their A-game.

Naturally, all that meaty magic calls for something to wash it down, and Pig Island keeps the taps and bottles flowing nonstop with cocktails, craft beer, cider, fine wines, and spirits.

With even more in store, it's an all-out pork-stravaganza!
