And if there's a vegetarian in your group, they'll enjoy the vegetable station hosted by Heritage Farm.

Mouthwatering, tender brisket is the star of the show, not to mention ribs, pork tacos, sausages, pulled pork and the like, in addition to accouterments like tasty sides, drinks from Six Point Brewery, Laphroiag, Knob Creek, and Flagship Brewing Co., and then some, as well as even more delightful surprises in store!

It's back and brimming with even more brisket! Food Karma Projects' Annual Pig Island Festival returns for its 13th year, with what is certain to be another day of sunshine fun, pork-centric meats, all-star chefs, craft beers, and artisanal spirits, helmed by legendary restaurateur, chef, and social entrepreneur Jimmy Carbone.

You'll savor juicy, drool-inducing brisket and other meats, locally sourced from small & sustainable farms that turn top notch hogs into succulent works of culinary art for a regionally inspired feast at the grounds of the 83-acre, sprawling haven of natural beauty that is the Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.

The last remnants of summer will shine through on this September Saturday, cooling off while sipping from your ever-filled glass of scrumptious libations provided by the likes of Kills Boro Brewing Company, RGNY Vineyards, Laphroaig, Six Point Brewery, Maker's Mark, and so much more.

With 1 Hour Early Access before general admission, you'll dig into juicy creations by Cenobio Canalizo of Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue, Kim Plafke of The Meat Hook, acclaimed Chef Matt Fisher (Queen’s Custom Barbecue), and Erika Nakamura and Joe Musngi of SmoKING of Meats, among others.

In addition to the porky perfection, break a sweat down Hot Sauce Alley featuring Rick’s Picks Pickles, chow down on delish veggies from Heritage Farm, learn a thing or two at the butchering & cooking demos featuring farmers, star chefs and culinary experts, & be blown away by plenty of extra eats as you enjoy the gorgeous weekend.

Break out the brisket and the brews - this is perfection...
