You love Shakespeare in the Park, but not the crazy jostling with the tourists. This year's The Tempest follows Prospero, a deposed duke turned magician, and his daughter, Miranda, on their island where they have been stranded for twelve years. Using his magic, Prospero creates a storm to wreck a nearby ship, bringing new people to the island, causing comedy and romance to ensue. Come watch the drama unfold in this beautiful park as twilight sets in around you.
Opening night is Friday June 8 and performances last through Sunday June 26, 2016.
