Uptown Forró is a group of Brazilian New Yorkers dedicated to spreading the joy of Forró - a festive style of music and partner dance that has its roots in the Northeast of Brazil. Featuring Anne Boccato on voice and triangle, Lucas Cypriano on accordion, Thiago Fernandes on clarinet, Everton Isidoro and Rogerio Boccato on percussion; the group plays infectious grooves and catchy Coro melodies wherever they go, and are sure to get you up and moving!
