Come to Little Island this July and immerse yourself in a world of sound and motion, rhythm and melodies, when we present our 2022 Music and Dance Festival! Last season’s Dance Festival was co-curated by Artist-in-Residence Ayodele Casel (Funny Girl, Chasing Magic, Diary of a Tap Dancer) and her long-time collaborator Torya Beard (Funny Girl, Chasing Magic; Executive Director, A BroaderWay) and this season Tony Award Winner Michael McElroy (Sunday In The Park With George, Rent, Big River), a fellow Little Island Artist-in-Residence, is joining the fun! Together they will curate and present an electrifying roster of New York based musicians, choreographers, and dancers in a multi-generational kaleidoscope of styles, including blues, jazz, hip hop, folk, street dance, musical theater and more.
