Spontaneous Space explores the relationship between improvised music and sound as a healing modality. The series is an homage to Christopher Tree, who pioneered improvised gong and percussion concerts, calling his work "spontaneous sound". This percussion-only iteration of Spontaneous Space will delve into the meaning of time and drone by contrasting percussive instruments which at a glance sit opposite one another in the spectrum of percussive duties.
