As part of The 2021 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, SVA presents the world premiere screening of the documentary Love Is In the Legend, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Myra Lewis. The film is an '80s New York underground story of uniquely diverse and multicultural outsiders who found belonging through fashion, dance, and music in the confluence of the Paradise Garage club, the Harlem ball scene, and the formation of the House of Field. Plus, expect in-depth interviews with the likes of Patricia Field and Marc Jacobs.
