Flavor Journey is an 8-course dining experience exploring the connection between Taiwanese and Vietnamese cuisine through flavor, memory, movement, and sound. Created by Traveler in collaboration with 929 and Lee Kum Kee, the experience uses shared ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor foundations as a way to explore how cultures evolve across borders while still remaining deeply connected. Rather than presenting the cuisines as fusion, each course highlights a different point of overlap between Taiwan and Vietnam, from broth and fermentation to tea culture, herbs, smoke, and spice. The evening combines food, cocktail pairing, music, visual storytelling, and interactive elements into a single narrative-driven experience.

The Experience

Guests will move through an 8-course tasting menu with optional cocktail pairing by 929. The progression of the menu was designed like a journey, beginning with lighter, brighter flavors before gradually moving into deeper, slower, more nostalgic profiles. Alongside the dining experience, the evening also features:
