Greenpoint-based grooming shop Pooch’s Parlor (@poochsparlor) is partnering with Second Chance Rescue (@nycscr) to host “Beach, Please”: a free community adoption and grooming event taking place July 25, 2026, to support dogs available for adoption. The event will take place at Pooch's Parlor (128 India Street, Greenpoint) from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Throughout the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs from Second Chance Rescue, learn about the organization's lifesaving work, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and connect with fellow animal lovers - all while supporting one of New York City's leading rescue organizations.
