Block parties - New Yorkers love 'em. Maybe it's because we normally see sidewalks as a battlefield where we must win by going around slow walkers; when we block our streets off, it means let's party. Head downtown for free games, music and fun on Wednesdays until August 2, 2017. You'll find a putting green, a soccer kick tunnel, a SoulCycle station, basketball arcade, shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong, and corn hole for your amusement. There will be a beer garden by La Dama and Le Pain Quotidien, live DJ sets, and good times for all.
