One of the coolest art organizations in Brooklyn, Open Source Gallery is an arts-based nonprofit inspired by the open source movement and the intersection of art and community. Every year, it hosts a month of free, open-to-community dinners cooked by artists and volunteers through December. On Christmas Day, the dinner be paired with WOE (words of encouragement), or motivational entertainment. Either sign up to volunteer (thus guaranteeing your place) or just show up.
