Brooklyn’s free R&B Festival at MetroTech is taking place today with a performance by Calypso legend Mighty Sparrow. The concert is scheduled from noon to 2 pm in downtown Brooklyn at the MetroTech Commons, at the corner of Flatbush and Myrtle avenues. The concerts are organized by the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Forest City Ratner Companies.
