France’s National Holiday, Bastille Day, celebrates the Storming of the Bastille in 1789 during the French Revolution. No need to go to France to join in the fun. The French Institute Alliance Française is bringing the holiday to NYC with food, culture, and entertainment. With vendors of French delicacies and performances from a wide variety of artists, such as French mimes, Can-can dancing, and fencing (En garde!), 60th Street will be the place to be to enjoy all things French.
