This year marks Memphis’s bicentennial! Whole Foods Market Upper West Side will be hosting a free Memphis BBQ during Harlem Week, celebrating the iconic music and cuisine that makes Memphis so unique! They'll be serving pulled chicken, sweet potato casserole, collard greens, corn bread, sweet tea and more! In addition to the cultural fare, the Harlem Central Jazz Band will be performing Memphis-style jazz to pay homage to the rich cultural, musical and economic heritage of the city.
