Forget cronuts - the churro ice cream sandwich is the next big 2-in-1 dessert! In celebration of its 10th anniversary, tapas hot spot Boqueria is handing out free churro ice cream sandwiches created with the cult brand Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream. What's a churro ice cream, you say? It's two pieces of fried Mexican donuts, dusted with sugar and deliciously puffy, bound together by VanLeeuwen ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, or espresso flavors. The ice cream truck will be parked in front of the flatiron location of Boqueria.
