Join us for an introduction to the wines of Portugal with special guest Paulo Laureano. In addition to his responsibilities as proprietor and winemaker at his estate in the Alentejo, Laureano is among the leading proponents of the "Portuguese Grapes Only" movement which strives to celebrate the heritage of this under appreciated wine region. Attendees will taste wines from noted apellations such as Vinho Verde, Bucelas, the Douro, and Alentejo. You will taste wines crafted with grapes such as Arinto, Trincadeira, Alvarinho, Esgana Cao, Aragonez, and Tinta Grossa. In addititon to the wines, guests will enjoy Portuguese cod cakes and savory cheeses to match with their favorite wines.
