A group show of local artists finds a home here in Bushwick, next to a bar with an open bar. Also. This place is not literally fireproof, so flaming shots are strongly discouraged..... but drink as much vodka as you like from 8pm onwards.
Brooklyn Fire Proof began as a contemporary art gallery on Richardson Street in Williamsburg in 1998. Founded by Burr Dodd and Pearl Son Dodd, the former fireproofing factory was transformed into a complex featuring artist studios as well as music practice and recording studios.
