The National Jazz Museum in Harlem wants to restore joyful noise in the same way Jazz and poetry did for the Black community in the 1920s. Anytime there is a great disaster a renaissance is necessary to restore the people to build back better. Harlem understood this in the 1920s by responding with the Harlem Renaissance after the Great Influenza and the Great Migration. Now, the Rebirth Tour, brought to you by Free Fyre, will supply a mix of Jazz, spoken word poetry, and a live retelling of the stories of Harlem Renaissance artists.
