The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts is home to one of the world's largest collections of circulating, reference, and rare archival art, music and video footage. Hit the library for Shelf Life, a performance of new music inspired by archival footage of jazz legends Sonny Rollins, Meredith Monk, Alvin Lucier, Bob Moog, Carla Bley, and James Turrell, and experience the evolution of this dynamic genre in person.
