Peter Max’s colorful, psychedelic designs with motifs drawn from Art Nouveau and Eastern painting traditions are hallmarks of the visual identity of the 1960s. Max created commissions and advertisements for a wide range of clients, from the Woodstock Music Festival (Summer of Love) to bedsheets to clocks for General Electric (GE), the latter of which act as inspiration for this event. Held on a First Friday, when access to the museum is free, grab a paintbrush and get inspired!
