Hosted by the culinary power couple Margaret and Geoffrey Zakarian, The Art of Food is a dazzling event at the intersection of art and gastronomy, taking place from 7:30pm until 10:00pm on Saturday February 4, 2017 at Sotheby’s.
Grab this $75 pulse (a $112 value) for admission to this spectacular evening, offering delightful chef-created dishes and a a 2.5 Hour Premium Open Bar at the legendary auction house's historic Upper East Side location.
Michelin Starred Chef Geoffrey Zakarian will be joined by 24 other culinary titans including Michael White (Vaucluse), Daniel Holzman (The Meatball Shop) and Jordy Lavanderos (Seamstress) for this annual celebration of art and food.
Each of the 25 chefs will prepare a signature mouthwatering dish - inspired by art from Sotheby’s upcoming auctions - with each dish being paired with select wines and cocktails.

The Art of Food is a mesmerizing multi-disciplinary annual event showcasing food and art at their highest levels at the world-renowned Sotheby's auction house.
Your host for the evening is celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian; in addition to appearances in Chopped and The Rachel Ray Show, Chef Zakarian is an Iron Chef, a noted philanthropist, and an author of best-selling cookbooks alongside his wife Margaret.
Wine, dine, and be delighted by the fascinating cultural pairings, which in past years have included Crudo inspired by Lichtenstein, and a Shake Shack concoction inspired by Warhol's hamburger print.
Just a few of the stellar restaurants cooking at this event are: Lusardi's, Shake Shack, Sant Ambroeus, Crave Fishbar, T-Bar Steak, and Magnolia Bakery.
