Open Show in collaboration with the San Francisco Film Society presents this benefit screening in memory of renowned conflict photographer and director Tim Hetherington, who was killed in Libya in April 2011. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit Committee to Protect Journalists, an independent organization dedicated to the global defense of press freedom. The Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning documentary is an intimate portrait of one platoon over one year posted to Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley.
