Although all-you-can eat oysters for yourself are quite fun, there are limits. However, you can stop by McCormick & Kuleto's Shuck & Swallow Oyster Competition to watch (and not suffer through) a contest to decide the oyster-eating champion in San Francisco. The competition will involve a dozen teams, each consisting of two members from various Bay Area restaurants, competing to shuck and swallow as many oysters as possible in 10 minutes. Viewing the competition is FREE and begins at 5:00 p.m.

If all the shucking makes you a little jealous, McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant will host a $30 oyster and wine pairing after the competition from 6:00-8:00. Tickets will be available at the door, and all proceeds will benefit The Marine Mammal Center.
