Hemlock Tavern brings you a triple-header of awesome music this week. Burnt Ones, an SF-based trio, bring on the "electric sleaze/bubblegum psych". The Mallard harness the naked abandon of 60's punk, but inject the form with a deranged spirit all their own for an overall feeling of reckless ascent. Koko and the Sweetmeats hail from Seattle and are described as "a raw noise that sounds part vintage '60s rock, part blues, and entirely, awesomely dynamic."
