Founded by creative director Heather Tierney, The Butcher’s Daughter is spread across five locations in Los Angeles and New York City. The name is half-joking, as Tierney imagined the story of a classic butcher whose daughter, raised in a world of meat, flipped the script to embrace plant-forward cuisine.
Start your visit with a Rosemary Margarita or a Chai Old Fashioned, then dive into favorites like BBQ or buffalo sauce Cauliflower Wings drizzled in ranch. Heather Tierney, founder and creative director, is the visionary behind this aesthetic-meets-cuisine movement. A designer with a love for wandering farmers markets and crafting exotic cocktails at her bar Apothéke, Heather brings a mix of feminine and masculine energy to every space. Each location is curated to feel as stylish as it is inviting, a true reflection of her California-cool sensibility.
The menu is where the magic happens. Vegetarian, yet flavor-packed, it’s earned accolades from New York Magazine for "great renditions of healthy fare.” Dishes are dreamed up by a collective of bold, boundary-pushing women, including James Beard Award-winning chef Sophia Roe, choreographer Kristin Sudeikis, and other culinary innovators.
