Aron Watman, a seasoned industry vet, has a track record of achievement, being the driving force behind hotspots like The Folly in Soho, Hill & Dale, and The Brooklyneer in the Village. His wealth of experience is complemented by the collaboration with owners and cousins Oliver Rivera and Juan Gomez, whose Mexican heritage adds authenticity to the menu & vibe.

Drawing inspiration from Brooklyn's charm, Manhattan's intoxicating energy, and the cultural heritage of its owners hailing from Mexico, Cena is where you'll discover contemporary renditions of traditional recipes, enhanced by innovative twists, and given a weekend upgrade with a heavy does of decadent cocktails.
Cousins Oliver Rivera and Juan Gomez - who had collaborated with Restauranteur Aron Watman across various bars and eateries throughout the city including The Folly in Soho - brought their concept for Cena to the table. Aron readily joined forces with Juan and Oliver, culminating in the establishment that has now become a cherished local hotspot.
Cena's atmosphere whisks you away with its easy breezy welcoming allure, positioned just steps away from the natural beauty of Prospect Park. Once you've settled in with your weekend warrior crew, peruse the menu, which harmonizes authentic Mexican flavors via cherished recipes & contemporary culinary approaches.
The cocktails will flow, be it the mimosas boasting freshly-squeezed juices & purées, or sangrias overflowing with potent fruits - maybe you prefer a mix of both?
